My name is Luís Henrique Kubota and I provide translation and proofreading services from English into Brazilian Portuguese. I am an Associate Member of the ATA (American Translators Association) and hold a Certificate of Proficiency in English issued by the University of Cambridge. I am a Brazilian freelance translator and hold a BA in advertising. My areas of expertise also include market research, stock market (SEC forms, annual & quarterly reports, balance sheets & financial statements, shareholders' notices etc.), contract law (business contracts and shareholders' agreements) and PR. I also specialize in the fields of IT (peripherals), Telecoms (corporate - non-technical) and Software Localization (ERP - SAP & JDE).

I have successfully worked for advertising agencies, market research firms and end clients as a part-time translator since 1989, and as a full-time translator since 1998. During these years, among other activities, I also worked as an assistant analyst (for a market research firm) and as an industry specialist for the US Department of Commerce.
